New pricing structure implemented for DW 2025

A new pricing structure has been introduced ahead of the 2025 Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Race.

Earlier this year, paddlers were invited to register their interest for next year’s DW, and plenty of paddlers have made contact to express their interest in taking part in next year’s event.

And soon, those paddlers will be able to make their dream become a reality, with entries for the 2025 edition of DW opening on July 22, 2024.

Entries are opening much earlier than they have done in previous years, and for this year a new pricing structure is being adopted, giving those who decide to commit early a discount on their entry.

When entries go live next Monday, paddlers entering the race will be able to make the most of the Early Bird period. This will enable paddlers to get a race entry at the cheapest possible rate. The Early Bird will remain live until Sunday 13th October 2024, when it will then progress to the Advanced period.

The Advanced period will then be open until Sunday 9th March 2025, the date of Waterside B. After that date, entries will move on to our Last Minute period, allowing paddlers to enter up until Sunday 6th April, the date of Waterside D. However, entering last minute, also means that the price will be more expensive than if you commit earlier in the year.

As always, there are different prices for each class. These are detailed below:

Race Class Early Bird Advanced Last Minute
Senior Doubles £410 £435 £470
Relay (trial event) £485 £510 £545
Junior Doubles £410 £435 £470
Veteran/Junior £390 £410 £445
Endeavour £390 £410 £445
Senior Singles £260 £275 £300
Senior SUP £260 £275 £300

Payment will be at point of entry and must be paid online using a debit or credit card via Stripe.
