ThruDark DW partners with Paddle UK

ThruDark Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Race is delighted to announce that it has partnered with Paddle UK for the 2025 edition of the race.

As the governing body of paddlesports in the UK, Paddle UK’s backing of the ThruDark Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Race further enhances the progress that the organisation is making as it enters its 75th anniversary.

Speaking about the partnership, Paul Fielden, Director and Chairman of the Devizes to Westminster Organisation Ltd said:

“2025 marks the 75th running of the DW and we are delighted to have the support of Paddle UK as we look to grow the race and build a sustainable future that ensures the race can run for many years to come.

“Our alliance with Paddle UK is a significant step in safeguarding this iconic challenge for the next generation of DW paddlers and we are excited at the prospect of working with them over the coming months and years.”

Paddle UK’s Chief Executive, Ashley Metcalfe added:
